Of course our first topic in 19th Century Scientists section has to be about Charles
Darwin as we celebrate 200 years since his birth. Many museums are running special exhibitions to mark the event, and it also happens that this year is the
150th anniversary of the publication of 'On the Origin of Species.' Last year there was a special show at the New York Botanical Gardens about it, but
I couldn't go unfortunately.
Has anyone been to or planning to go to any events? Apparently the culmination of events will be in November of this year (the month of the publication of his
famous book). Be sure to add upcoming events in the events part of the forum!
